私人住宅, Out of The Blue
The project “Out of the blue” consists of the restructuring of a 150mq detached house in Milan.
From the very beginning , in agreement with the commitent , alongside the functional requirements, an architectonic language developed thus magnifying the intrinsic characteristics of the house and improving the perceived ratio between the different programmatic areas, creating a new balance and harmony.
The entire fitted furniture was designed to belong to the architecture with the function of optimising the spaces and creating storage both in the living area and the large accessorised walls in the entrance.

A mix of rational architecture, art nouveau and modern style; this 100 sqm apartment situated on the sixth floor of a luminous Roman apartment, dates back to 1970.
The goal of this project designed by Arch. Alessandro Tomei in collaboration with THSC Studio is to achieve a comfortable house with livable space embellished with proportionate volumes. As the owner’s taste itself, the exposed naked elements and contrasts used in the design of the apartment reflect naturalness and simplicity.
The spacious and minimal concept was created by using the visible axis to allocate the intended use destinations of the spaces which were defined by transparent or invisible separations
The result is a refined apartment without including excessive ornaments. An up-to-date style without being subjected to the most fashionable stylistic ideologies.

私人住宅, The boat and the pavilion
The boat and the pavilion, residential renovation project
The building is a typical terraced house of the ‘900 in Richmond, a residential neighbourhood in west London. The customer, a family of sailors, asked “Unagru Architecture Study” to design the extension and refurbishment of the ground floor on a more direct relationship with the garden.
The project was conceived with the idea of designing a boat, and refer to a nautical environment.
For the project, they used concave and convex spatial elements, combining them to alternate compression and expansion of space, it was also included a fragment of a boat in the historic building: a curved wall that runs through the plant in length, in which Linvisibile Alba Curved Hinged door was included. The extension of the building is covered with a pavilion roof, like an overturned boat that lets in light from the south. The white walls, the teak wooden floor and a rope railing still emphasize the nautical reference characteristic of this project.
